These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) govern your use of the services provided by Great American Auto Transport (“GAATCO”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By placing a vehicle transport order, you (“Customer”, “you”, or “your”) agree to the following terms:

1. Services Provided

GAATCO is a licensed auto transport broker, not a carrier. We arrange for the transportation of your vehicle(s) through third-party motor carriers that are licensed and insured.

2. Booking & Payment

  • A broker fee is charged upon booking and is separate from the carrier’s fee.
  • The remaining carrier fee is due upon delivery and may be paid directly to the driver via cash, cashier’s check, or other agreed payment methods.
  • All quotes are valid for 7 days unless otherwise specified

3. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Please refer to our full Refund Policy for complete details.

  • You may cancel prior to dispatch for a refund of the broker fee.
  • No refund will be issued once a carrier has been assigned or dispatched.

4. Carrier Responsibility

  • The assigned carrier is responsible for pickup, transport, and delivery.
  • Carriers are required by law to carry a minimum of $750,000 in liability insurance and cargo insurance.
  • GAATCO is not responsible for loss, damage, or delays caused by the carrier or force majeure events (e.g., weather, traffic, mechanical failure).

5. Vehicle Condition

  • The vehicle must be in operable condition, unless disclosed otherwise at booking.
  • You are responsible for removing all personal items, valuables, and loose parts.
  • A bill of lading will be completed by the carrier at pickup and delivery for condition reporting.

6. Delivery Times

  • All pickup and delivery dates are estimated and not guaranteed.
  • Delays may occur due to weather, traffic, driver availability, or mechanical issues.

7. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Be present (or assign someone) at both pickup and delivery.
  • Ensure your vehicle is ready for transport (gas under 1/4 tank, no leaks, operable brakes).
  • Pay the agreed amount to the carrier upon delivery unless pre-paid in full.

8. Damages & Claims

  • Any damage must be noted on the bill of lading at delivery.
  • Claims must be filed directly with the carrier’s insurance.
  • GAATCO may assist in resolving disputes but is not liable for damage or loss.

9. Disclaimer of Liability

GAATCO shall not be liable for:

  • Damage not noted at delivery.
  • Delays in transport.
  • Items left in the vehicle.
  • Mechanical failures during transport.

10. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
